I want to get outside today to snap some outdoor pictures (it's supposed to be 65 degrees!), but here's a picture I took of the lobby area eight steps outside the PICU at sunset. (Click on the image for a larger version, and wait for it to load as it is almost 1MB)

It is actually the Childrens Hospital on Colfax in Aurora. and it IS beautiful! i wish every hospital was like it.

It's true- that is the way every hospital should be... and their staff is incredible! I am so grateful you guys are there too.

Thank God that there's such an amazing place with amazing people to take care of sick kiddos and their families. It was nice to see you yesterday. Hopefully next time it will be at home, with Shane being Shane.

I agree with Kelly - the picture looks like a drawing. What a beautiful place to wait and/or get well; it must definitely lift one's spirit everybit as a drab and dreary hospital would pull down one's spirit.
